Anyone who conduct tours of the Barito river railing between Buntok - Mangkatip - Village Tampulang / Jenamas it will record some of the uniqueness of high potential for regional tourism, namely:

1.      Along the banks of the Barito river between Dusun Hilir subdistrict Buntok and recorded three locations proboscis monkey groups, three groups of monkeys and the second location the location of the white-crested hornbills. The location is among other Bangkuang downstream, downstream Betung Gulf to continue into the forests surrounding the upstream Mangkatip . These findings indicate that along the Barito Basin is still a lot of wildlife roaming in the wild. This fact is a sign that nature is still an ideal South Barito district as a tourism destination original nature and special interests.

2.      Survey Data Tourism Development Planning in South Barito Regency dated December 18, 2007 recorded a number of swamp buffalo in the rural areas as many as 3900 Tampulang Camat Jenamas tail and notes totaling 3936 animals. In a survey dated May 10, 2008, the number becomes 4600 tails. And the last enumeration Tampulang Village Head, tendered, the actual amount of swamp buffalo tail exceeds 5000.
